American Bio-Clean Green 115 Marine Cleaner - MC
American Bio-Clean Green 115 Marine Cleaner - (MC)
is a patented blend of surfactants and
several strains of active microbes. It is a
multi-use product formulated to perform a
variety of tasks in an aqueous environment.
Marine Clean can be added directly to water
a a bio-treatment or used first as a
cleaner, then utilizing the rinse water as a
bio-treatment. Marine Clean sharply reduces VOC's and odors with minimum agitation and
eliminates sheens on contact, making it
ideal for use in confined or poorly
ventilated spaces and around waterways.
Microbes in
MC
eliminate unwanted
hydrocarbon wastes by transforming them into
harmless, odorless by-products. Any targeted
organic hydrocarbon wastes, ranging from
food grease to benzene, can be eliminated.
MC
contains a highly stable oxygen
source. This eliminates problems associated
with biological oxygen demand (BOD)
MC
inhibits oil
from attaching to surfaces, reduces nozzle
plugging, algae, foul odors, vapors, and
bottom sludge.
MC
is intended for use for in
cleaning engine rooms, decks, bilges, sewer
systems, lift stations, grease traps, and
septic tanks. Not to be confused with a
drain opener or enzyme treatment,
MC
is a sophisticated tool for long
term preventative maintenance. It is also
excellent for use in water tanks used for
testing boats and watercraft after repair to
reduce oily build-up and odors while
inhibiting oil from sticking to hulls.
Testimonial:
I just call it the "NO Product"
-
NO Pollution- I don't have to worry about having
to drain my test tank water in to the sewers
system, I don't have to drain AT
ALL. The MC and Microbes have kept the tank
water clean enough to use the same water for
well over a year now.
- NO Scum- The customers boats are so much
cleaner when we take them out of the tank, which
means less clean-uptime, less mess, and happy
customers and employees.
Plus, the inside of the tank doesn't have that
scum that we had before using your product. I'm
not ashamed or embarrassed for any of my
customers to see the tank. (Before they would
cringe whenever they saw their beautiful lean
watercraft being lowered into the scummy tank!)
- NO Damage- Because there
is no chlorine in your products, my test tank
isn't eaten away like it was with other cleaning
supplies.
The MC and microbes don't attack anything but
the oil in the water!
- NO Filter- I was buying $50+filter
every month, and still had scum! Now, I don't
even use a filter.

Marine Clean
Water Treatment and Cleaner Instructions
Marine Clean is an aqueous based blend
of heavy duty surfactants and naturally
occurring, live aerobic microbes. Marine
Clean is intended for cleaning and
eliminating unwanted hydrocarbons (i.e. oil,
diesel, gasoline, benzene) and associated
vapors, odors, and sheens in marine
environments such as bilges/engine rooms,
storage tanks, ponds, marshlands, grease
traps, and wherever contaminated water is a
problem. Marine Clean lifts heavy
contaminants from surfaces and breaks them
into microscopic size particles for fast
assimilation by microbes. In addition,
Marine Clean eliminates sheens and
substantially lowers VOC's upon contact,
reducing the chance for fires or explosions.
All components are nontoxic, non-pathogenic,
and completely biodegradable.
BILGES
IMPORTANT: Marine Clean must be allowed
to remain in the bilge, allowing microbes
adequate time to consume oils and fuel.
Agitation of some type must be provided
immediately after treatment to insure that
product, oils, fuels, and water are
thoroughly mixed. This can be done by wave
action, circulation pumps, or other means.
Taking the boat out for a cruise after
treatment is recommended.
DIRECT BILGE TREATMENT – Use full
strength at 1 to 3 oz. per foot of boat
length, depending on the estimated amount of
water and oil in the bilge.
INDIRECT BILGE TREATMENT – Dilute
with 3 parts COOL water in new, household
type pump-up sprayer or spray bottle. Spray
liberally on engine, bilge walls, walkways,
decks, being certain that rinse water drains
directly into the bilge. If using power
washer, apply to surfaces and follow with
high pressure rinse or use through washers
using soap inductor. For heavier
contamination, allow additional soak time
and use brushes.
Note: After proper treatment, bilge water
will not produce sheens and is harmless to
the environment. This does not necessarily
constitute legal grounds for discharge into
open water, however. Always abide by all
local and federal laws concerning discharge
of bilge water to land and waterways.
WATERCRAFT/BOAT MOTOR REPAIR TEST TANKS
BASIC TREATMENT: Although not required,
for best results treatment should begin in a
clean tank with fresh (new) water. At a
minimum, oils or fuels floating on water
surfaces should be skimmed or absorbed as
well as possible before treatment. pH of
water must be maintained between 6 and 9.
For maximum efficiency, aeration should be
provided. This is accomplished by use of a
sump pump placed on or near the bottom with
the discharge hose secured at the surface.
In high volume shops, aeration due to wave
action produced by motor testing may prove
to be sufficient. Proper aeration can be
determined by the amount of oil build-up
being experienced. Without sufficient
aeration, oil build-up will begin to occur
as usual. For the initial treatment, use
full strength at 13 oz (clean water) to 25
oz (used water) Marine Clean per 100 gallons
water in tank. For follow-up, use full
strength at ½ to 1 oz Marine Clean per 100
gallons of water once per week. Exact amount
necessary will depend on many factors;
adjust as required.
TREATING SURFACE OILS AND FUELS: For
floating oils or fuels, apply full strength
or dilute with up to 5 parts water. Spray
directly to the oil or fuel using highest
possible pressure. A new, garden type
pump-up sprayer is sufficient for small
spills. For best results, run boat motor
while applying directly to spilled oil until
it becomes emulsified in the water and no
longer visible. For spills on concrete or
asphalt (floors), apply liberally. Use
brush/broom to emulsify and rinse with cool
water.
OTHER AREAS FOR USE
• Reduces grease build-up and odors in
drains, sewers, septic systems and
re-circulating water systems.
• Regular use on concrete for cleaning
reduces slippery conditions and restores
appearance.
• Spill response in marinas, fueling docks.
• Industrial water and blow down pond
treatment. Call American Bio Clean for recommendations.
• Workboats equipped with spray equipment to
eliminate sheens on open water (with 5 to 6
parts water).
• Will not harm or corrode rubber seals,
gaskets, brass, most fabrics.
• Cleans fuel tanks, decks, galley floors,
pilings, piers, docks, tools, parts,
equipment, walls. Using mops, dilute with 10
to 40 parts cool water. Using pressure
washers or auto scrubbers, dilute with 40 to
64 parts cool water.
